Book Review - Dominic by April M. Reign

Dominic (Vampire Biker Series) Season 1 Episode 1 (Disciples of the Damned, #1)

49 Pages

Betrayed by his vampire kin, chained in silver, and cast out to sea, Dominic has been at the bottom of the ocean for two centuries, and has finally awakened. But the order of vampires has changed, as has the world at large. And Dominic must adjust to the new ways, if justice is to be had for those who betrayed him so long ago.

A hot alpha male with old world charm and attitude, Dominic is on a mission. Luckily, his friend Palo doesn’t let him get away with much, forcing him to learn the new ways. Dominic agrees, knowing that his adjustment is vital to his survival. But the new world order is filled with power hungry vampires, and humans alike, where underground vampire feeding clubs and human farms that harvest blood are illegal but commonplace. Still, there are joyous aspects of this new world, too.

Dominic discovers TV, scantily clad women, the internet... and motorcycles! Mounting his steel horse, Dominic is a badass on wheels, seeking revenge, raising hell, and charming a few women along the way.

I enjoyed this glimpse into Dominic’s world! However, I didn’t feel like I had a chance to get to know him as well as I wanted to! This was a big story for such a short read. It will be interesting to see how the series unfolds!
