Now that Dex and Perry have a relatively established
Internet show, they take on the sordid history of D’Arcy Island—a small,
uninhabited island, and a former leper colony, off the coast of Washington State—to investigate rumors of
ghostly apparitions and strange sightings.
Setting up camp on the shore, oddities begin almost immediately, and include wooden coffins washing up on shore and frightening interactions, as the island’s energy appears less than receptive to Dex and Perry’s presence. As much as the island appears uninhabited this ghostly vortex does not respond well to those who visit … or to those who wish to leave.

So far, this is my favorite book in the series! I love the
secluded and eerie island setting, and the story itself! Dex and Perry struggle
to work together, and issues of trust become pinnacle as the island sets up
barriers to their working together. We watch as they confront inner battles and
outward dangers. This is a page-turner, and a great book!
