On a family trip to the Oregon coast, and with camera in
hand, Perry Palomino sets out to explore the old, decrepit and abandoned
lighthouse on her uncle’s property.
Feeling drawn to the weathered structure, Perry finds a weak spot in a piece of plywood and manages to pull herself up and over the window and onto the dampened floor. Having spent the better part of the stormy night hiking to the lighthouse’s spot, nestled high on a jagged cliff, the last thing Perry expects to find inside is another person! But with an unusual sense drawing her to the place, anything is possible.
She meets Dex Foray—cocky, arrogant, and handsome—who finds Perry intriguing. And after a disturbing encounter within the lighthouse, a partnership is forged that will explore the depths of Perry’s unique abilities … but Dex may be hiding a few abilities of his own!

I loved this book! Although at times Perry seemed a little
clueless, I was happy to see the way these two connected, despite their outward
differences. Darkhouse is an absorbing first installment to the series.
