Covet is the first book in the Fallen Angels series. We are
introduced to Jim Heron, a rough and rugged soul with a black ops military
background, who finds himself caught between two worlds, and part of a deadly
game as old as time: the battle against good and evil. As the newest fallen
angel, Jim has the ability to influence seven souls in the most objective way. You see, Jim is a wild card, and his influence could go either way. But
the games have just begun!
This book introduces us to demons, in the form of beautiful
creatures; and angels, with plenty of quirks. With so much at stake, Jim is
being wooed from all angles, and in unexpected ways. But will he trust the
right sources? As a new angel, he still has a long way to go! And the clock is
ticking…
I really liked this book! I know it’s not the same as the
Black Dagger Brotherhood, and I really only started reading it because I was missing the brothers. But this book had its own
merit, and I enjoyed exploring the world Jim Heron was just thrust into. There were some slow parts, but I will
definitely keep reading the series to see which way the games will go.
