Dylan Alexander is a feisty, energetic journalist on a
European tour with friends. But when she wanders into a deep, secluded forest,
and ventures into a hidden cave she finds what appears to be an ancient tomb.
Adding to the mystery of her findings, Dylan captures a photo that she, in
turn, emails to her boss back home.
Eager to capitalize on Dylan’s findings, her boss sends her on a wild goose chase across Europe that results in Dylan becoming a target to those who wish to keep her findings a secret.

This is one of my favorite books in the series. We get to
know Rio, a former breed warrior, who has become a feral and bloodthirsty
predator, living deep in a secluded forest since his parting from the warriors.
Dylan’s character has depth and is a fun and energetic addition to the series.
This book adds the element of ghostly apparitions, traveling to new continents,
and a more thorough understanding of the breed-mates.
